Diploma Course on Hindu Temple Administration and Indian Culture Soon

Towards preserving and promoting Hindu culture and tradition, Tirupati’s deemed University Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) has announced a one-year diploma course in temple administration and culture.

The University Vice-Chancellor Prof V Muralidhara Sarma made an official announcement in this regard on December 14, 2017.

According to Prof. Sharma, the course will a combination of legal and ritualistic procedures related to temples.

In its recent operation, the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department of recovered 26 panchaloha idols of various gods from a 300-year-old temple in the Cuddalore district of Tamilnadu State.

Pakistan SC Angry About Missing Idols in Hindu Temple

In a move supporting Hindu temple in Pakistan, the Pakistani Supreme Court (SC) recently raised a serious concern over missing of main idols of Hindu gods in the world-famous Katas Raj temple located in country’s Punjab Province.

Pakistan’s SC raised the issue as part of its hearing over drying up of the ages-old sacred pool in the temple because of ground water depletion due to cement factories operating in the area.
